The Area

Tzarevo is a coastal resort situated on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea coas just 60km south of Bourgas. This is a beautiful area characterised by the picturesque green mountains of Strandja which seem to meet the sandy beaches lapped with crystal clear water. There are almost 10m of beaches along the coastline and the town nestles amongst three delightful bays. Water sports and swimming are particularly well suited to the area due to the gently sloping beaches and calm waters. The holiday season in Tzarevo starts in the beginning of May, lasting until the end of September. The average temperature in July is 30ºc. The nearest airport is in Bourgas.
